Seller reportedDescription
The Airborne XT 912 can be viewed at an airfield in Shropshire by arrangement and we will be happy to demonstrate it to qualified flex-wing pilots that understand the quality of the aircraft and are interested in purchasing ie no-time wasters please? G-CDGE This is a unique opportunity to own one of the best flex-wing microlights in the world. This Australian built machine was designed by World Hang Gliding champions, so the wing is a dream to fly - docile enough to be flown long distances virtually hands off or open the throttle, pull the bar in and keep up with the best! This aircraft is one of the first pair to be imported into UK when they were certified under BCAR Section S. At the time the Pound to Aussie Dollar was favourable and enabled the importation at a fair and competitive price. Sadly, that situation did not last and they became too expensive for the UK market. Now, we have gotten too old to fly safely anymore, so she needs a new home. With only 380 hours on the log, she has been looked after lovingly in a dry and dark hangar. The wing is in great condition and still fly’s like it were new. The heavier weight (6oz) UV protected genuine Dacron fabric that the Aussies used ensures longevity. The 80hp Rotax 912 starts on the button and purrs driving the carbon fibre Bolly Boss (Aussie) prop. As they are still in production, all spares are available. The aircraft is hangered in Shropshire and can be flown by truly interested & qualified pilots.
