2023 A-I-R ATOS Hang Gliders
Light Sport
Aircraft Details
Seller reportedDescription
Pilot entitlement
The ATOS VX is more demanding to take off due to its long wingspan & its high weight, & the landing is also slightly more demanding than the more recent ATOS VQ/VR/VRplus. Especially for high suspension loads, however, it allows a foot start if it would no longer be possible safely with the smaller surfaces. Its flight characteristics are simple & it is used in training as a tandem device.
Motorization
The ATOS VX can be used with motor harnesses such as eLift & Mosquito. It is also possible to use the ATOS VX as a trike area with special attention to the permissible total weight.
