2022 Porto Aviation Risen 912iS
Light Sport
Aircraft Details
Seller reportedDescription
The aircraft was first registered 2022 but built in Italy 2018. Cruise at 155-165 TAS using 17-19 lph (I have plenty of photos of the glass at various altitudes).
My last trip (as of writing this) was Canberra to Tasmania in 2hrs 10min using 38 litres of MOGAS mainly at 6500'. This is the most efficient plane in the sky that will cruise above 150 knots. If you want to own and fly arguably the best LSA in Australia this is your plane. It is not hard to fly either (I only started flying 5 years ago), but you do have to fly further ahead and have your retractable and constant speed prop ratings. I found that doing lots of circuits at 130 knots locked in the necessary habits and procedures.
Safety wise you get:
a ballistic parachute
published stall speed of 30 knots in landing configuration @ 600kg
23:1 glide ratio (makes crossing Bass Strait @ 10,000 ft more comfortable)
ADSB in and out
Full autopilot to reduce fatigue on long trips
