Description
A late specification Model 12 with shorter fuselage and wings with larger ailerons in superb overall condition. Full dual controls and interchangeable single and two seat canopies. Hooker ratchet harnesses front and rear. All hoses braided Aeroquip. Built by a well known British architect, completed 2017 and only displayed the first 2 seasons with light private use since. Won the concour award at LAA Sywell 2017. Vendenyev M14PF overhauled and zero timed at time of build. Dynamometer recorded at 426 HP. Propeller is the MTV-9-250. Weighs in at just 699 KG including oil and usable fuel giving 3200 FPM climb rate. Burns circa 56 litres per hour with 200 litres fuel capacity giving excellent cross country range. Operates on LAA Permit, valid till April 2027. About 9/10s the fun of a warbird for 1/10 of the operating cost. No damage history. No VAT. May consider classic car or aircraft in part exchange. Owned for 5 years with very little aerobatic use. £175,000 or sensible offer considered.
