Description
I am forced to sell my Pitts S-2A because of my back. I own the aircraft since 2010, always hangared and carefully maintained. Used only for fun, no hard aerobatics. Factory build, standard type certificate; this is one of the last S-2A produced, she has wider fuselage, taller landing gear and symmetrical ailerons with spades, basically she is an S-2B with a 4 cylinder engine and the handling (and fuel consuption) of the S-2A. ARC renewed and annual just performed Airplane time state: Airplane year of construction 1982, S/N 2269. Engine Lycoming AEIO-360-A1E (compressions all above 70 and low oil consuption) Propeller Hartzell HC-C2YK-4CF/FC7666A-2 with B hub (no periodic check required). Total time since new approx 1100 h airframe and engine (still in use). 1000 h inspection performed in 2012 Hooker harness replaced in 2019 with new ones in front and rear seat ACAM inspection by LBA sustained and passed in 2019 Landing gear shock cords replaced in 2025 Last annual completed on 24/6/2026 ARC expiration: 30/6/2027 All AD and SB applied
