The Sukhoi SU-31 is a single-seat aerobatic aircraft developed by the Russian Sukhoi Design Bureau. Designed primarily for high-performance aerobatic competition, it is renowned for its exceptional agility, strength, and responsiveness. Introduced in the early 1990s, the SU-31 is an evolution of the earlier SU-26, featuring improvements such as a lighter structure, more powerful radial engine (typically the Vedeneyev M14P or M14PF), and enhanced flight control surfaces.
