There is an opportunity to acquire a share in our well established syndicate operating this tidy 1977 Rockwell Commander 114, hangared at Archerfield airport in South East Queensland. Designed for comfortable touring the spacious cabin is fitted with leather seats and is in good condition. The Commander's TAS is 135 -144 knots using between 45 and 55ltrs per hour, depending on whether running lean or rich of peak EGT.
The aircraft has just been fitted with a freshly overhauled engine from Brisbane Aero Engineers.
Equipped with modern avionics, including a Garmin G5 and Garmin 650 RNAV system, an S-TEC 30 autopilot and JPI-830 digital engine monitor, it is IFR capable and a pilot's pleasure to fly, even for low hour pilots. With a maximum take-off weight of 1427kg it is suited to Recreational Pilot Licence holders. Insurance requires minimum 125 hours total including 5 hours retractable undercarriage.
