Description
Cherokee 54665 is a clean and reliable Piper Cherokee 140/160. It has been lovingly owned and operated for the last four plus years by a small flight club of owner-operators. 665 was our only bird. We purchased it in early 2022 after it had just undergone a major restoration by SkyPros in Kansas City. The aircraft received an engine overhaul with the Powerflow STC performance upgrade, a newly cut panel and an Aspen Evolution Pro 1000 PFD with synthetic vision just to name a few of the many improvements. Since then, the club has flown this bird just over 1100 engine hours, sparing no expense on maintenance along the way. This airplane is turn-key and absolutely perfect for IFR training, time building or personal ownership. A club like ours could also benefit. We are only selling to move up into a Mooney and cannot afford two planes. TT: 3784.05 (still being flown though) Engine: Original powerplant, was overhauled in 1997 and again in 2021, currently 1124.75 SMOH. Both mags replaced in 2025, less than 200 hours on them. Prop: 1131.5 SMOH but only 230 hrs since a full dress/repaint/balance, looks brand new Paint was done in 1999 but is in excellent shape as the plane has been hangared. The interior is nice navy and tan leather in 6/10 condition, carpet and seats show some wear. The internal plastics have some cracking but it is merely cosmetic and we never had the desire to fix it. Airtex has kits to easily replace these plastics if desired. Wheel pants are included but not installed. Compressions. 78, 78, 78, 76 Powerflow exhaust STC installed in 2021 Engine was overhauled in 2021, most of the hours flown since then have been long xcs and all hours are owner flown. Prop was balanced, dressed and repainted in 2025 and looks brand new.
