BTHDescription
If you're looking for the useful load, range, engine, and upgraded avionics that a C172 provides for less than half the price tag, then this plane is for you! I'm selling my 1/2 share of N4078X. It's a 1970 Aero Commander 100-180 Lark tied down on the EAA ramp at LZU. Burns somewhere between 6-9 GPH depending on what RPM you set. Useful load 769 lbs. 40 gal usable fuel. About 900 hours SMOH on a 2000 hour 180HP Lycoming O-360 and my co-owner and I have flown about 600 of those hours since October 2025. It's IFR Certified and current with two GI-275s as PFD and HSI, a G650xi with active Garmin subscription and capable of LPV, ILS, and pretty much any other approach you can think of. Annual is due in September. The other owner is currently working on CFI-I rating at RYY and lives in Sandy Springs and is open to moving the plane from LZU when our lease there is up in October.
