Description
This Reims Aviation Cessna FR172G Rocket combines the legendary handling qualities of the classic Cessna high-wing platform with significantly improved performance through the reliable Continental IO-360 engine. Originally developed by Reims Aviation in France, the FR172 series offers enhanced climb performance, higher cruise speeds, and excellent short-field capability compared to the standard Cessna 172 models. This particular aircraft especially benefits from its exceptionally low times since overhaul on both engine and propeller. The fuel injected Continental IO-360-DB engine has accumulated only 80 hours since major overhaul, while the lightweight MT constant-speed propeller has only 90 hours since overhaul, making D-ECHD an outstanding touring aircraft ready for many years of enjoyable flying. As a true 4-seat touring aircraft, the FR172G offers stability, excellent visibility, economical operating costs, and proven cross-country capability.
