About the Bell 205A-1
The Bell 205 is the civilian/utility version of the iconic UH-1 Huey — a single-engine medium helicopter with the unmistakable Bell main rotor sound. The 205A-1 (Lycoming T53) is the most common civilian variant, used worldwide for firefighting (with belly tanks), heli-logging, utility lift and external-load operations. As a former-military or purpose-built civil airframe, the 205 is the workhorse single-engine medium on the used market.
Produced 1969.
