Description

1968 Cessna 150J - N50750 Based KFGU (Collegedale, TN). Fresh annual August 2025. Honest, well-sorted 150J that's had real money put into it in the last two years - not a project, not a tired trainer. This airplane has been brought up to a modern VFR panel, the engine accessories have been refreshed, and the small stuff that nickel-and-dimes 150 owners has already been addressed. Times Airframe TT: 4,851.6 Engine: Continental O-200-A, 926 SMOH (Continental recommended TBO 1,800) Prop: McCauley 1A101-DCM Compressions at 8/2025 annual: 67 / 73 / 72 / 77 Panel (all installed August 2025) uAvionix AV-30-C primary attitude indicator uAvionix AV-30-C HSI AV-Link and AV-MAG uAvionix tailBeaconX - ADS-B Out, Mode S, transponder built in Icom Flip-flop radio with dual-channel monitor Garmin 796 with ADS-B In (traffic and weather) Pitot-static and transponder cert current to 8/2027 The vacuum system was removed during the avionics install - pump deleted, accessory pad blanked off. No more vacuum pump on the worry list. Plane Power ER14-50 alternator conversion (STC SA10921SC) - installed 2023, replaced the original generator New Lightweight starter STC "Real Seals" silicone valve cover gaskets Real Gaskets pushrod tube STC Overhauled carburetor (2023) New exhaust gaskets, new intake tube gaskets New main tires and tubes (2023) Pitts inertia-reel shoulder harnesses (STC SA1410GL) Plane Power alternator INOP warning light installed per STC Engine baffling renewed and powder coated, cabin floor pans repaired and reprimed (2023) Fuel selector reseal, fuel tank drains and o-rings, primer reseal, brake caliper seals - all done 2023 New battery, new ELT mount, new RH wingtip All ADs complied with through current as of the August 2025 annual. AD 80-11-04 (tail nutplates) and AD 11-10-09 (seat rails) inspected and signed off. ELT battery good through March 2028. Paint is honest - call it a 5 to 6. No corrosion, no issues, just shows its age and would benefit from a repaint if the next owner wants a show plane. Interior is a solid 7 to 8 - clean, presentable, no torn upholstery. I purchased and built to teach my 3 kids to fly. The plane is ready to fly and has had the expensive avionics and accessory work done so the next owner doesn't have to. Logs are complete and available for review. Serious inquiries welcome - happy to walk through the logbook, send pictures, or arrange a prebuy at KFGU.
