Description
This is a super clean plane with overhauled ehgine AND prop (broken in and perfect). Extensive maintenance performed during engine install process, over $15K spent not including engine and prop OVH. Interior is 9/10 and paint is 9/10. Low total time. Being annualed right now for sale. This plane sips fuel. Fuel flow frequently shows 3-4 gallons at altitude at 160 mph. This in one of the straightest flying planes I've ever flown.
Propeller
No damage history. This plane has clearly been pampered. It was hangared by the previous owner for 20 years (in Washington) and partially hangared since, in dry Sacramento. Includes a nice cover. We are a nonprofit and the plane was donated by an elderly pilot facing an engine overhaul. We had the engine overhauled by Heart of the West in Wyoming with new cylinders, and we had the mags rebuilt and carb rebuilt. There was a slight oil leak on the prop, so we had it completely overhauled by Johnson in Bakersfield. Basic six pack, good radios, dual VOR, nice engine monitor. Mooney are famous for being slippery. This things jumps up to 12K' for mountain flying, has the super reliable manuel flaps, step and famous j-bar gear. Very low insurance for a retractable (once you have 40 hours retractable time). This plane is rated at 10GPH at 160MPH, but leaned at altitude, it's even lower. It's super comfortable for three adults (I'm 6'2" and 220) once you climb in. These are a
