About the Beechcraft T-34 Mentor
The Beechcraft T-34 Mentor is a two-seat tandem military trainer derived from the Bonanza — in service worldwide since 1953 and today one of the most popular civilian warbirds for formation flying and aerobatics. The piston T-34A/B uses a Continental O-470 (225 hp); the turbine T-34C "Turbo Mentor" uses a PT6A. Both have all-metal, low-wing construction and tandem seating with a sliding canopy. Restored civil-owned T-34s are sought after by warbird enthusiasts.
