WORN ROTOR ULTIMATELY FAILED DURING FLIGHT, RESULTING IN A FATAL ACCIDENT. THE PILOT LIKELY HAD TO APPLY EXCESSIVE FORCE TO SWITCH FUEL TANKS WITH THE WORN ROTOR.
