Description
Excellent piece for a collector or museum. It was made in 1943 . It is a Ryan PT22 ST3KR , in excellent condition. Powered by a 6 Cyl. Ranger C440 inline 200 hp with Aeromatic Prop. The engine has 110 h and was completely restored to 0 h 5 years ago with full documentation by Brad Ball in L.A. US. This long nose plane is totally different to the Kinner powered Ryan PT22 in performance and flying characteristics more like a little fighter with 2 tanks built in . It is the only one of this type in the EU and only a few exist in the US. It was imported from Michigan 18 years ago and restored to the original colour scheme and polished to near perfection. It has a complete new professional electric installation with a Garmin 430, an AV-30-C, VT-2000 Garrecht mode S transponder ,Artex ELT 345X and a PM1200 intercom nicely combined with original instruments. A.C.Hrs 3750 Prop 620 comes with new annual inspection May 2026. The Ranger Ryan took part in many airshows in the EU like Denmark Roskilde and La Ferte Alais Paris and Hahnweide Germany was invited and paid.
