Description

Beech 18 Tradewind project.

This particular aircraft has a fascinating history spanning over 80 years:

The Military Years: It rolled off the assembly line in 1943 as a Beechcraft SNB-1 for the United States Navy (Bureau Number 39796), where it served as a twin-engine radio and navigation trainer. In 1962, the military redesignated it as a TC-45J.

The Conversion: In 1964, it was sold to the civilian market (initially registered as N72405) and sent to Airborne Electronics in Memphis, Tennessee, to undergo the radical PacAero Tradewind conversion.

Later Life: It spent decades flying for various commercial operators and commuter airlines in the US (under registrations N156AB, N240MM, and N250RM) before being exported to Haiti in 2010, receiving its current registration, HH-JBD.

The aircraft is not in airworthiness condition and needs work to be done. Is sold as a project or a doner aircraft.
