THE MAGNETO IMPULSE COUPLER LOCKED UP AND BROKE THE GEARS INSIDE THE BACK OF THE ENGINE. THIS SHEARED THE DOWEL PIN IN THE BACK OF THE CRANKSHAFT CAUSING ENGINE STOPPAGE.

THE RH MLG UPPER SCISSOR LINK BROKE WHEN THE LDG PISTON EXTENDED AFTER ROTATION. A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE FRACTURE IT APPEARS THERE WAS INTERNAL CORROSION AT THE FRACTURE POINT.
