About Aeropro Aircraft Company
Aeropro, based in Slovakia, manufactures the EuroFOX — a versatile two-seat light aircraft available in tricycle, tailwheel, and floatplane configurations. The EuroFOX is constructed from welded steel tube with fabric covering, powered by Rotax 912 series engines, and known for excellent STOL performance and rugged durability suited to unprepared strips.
Pre-owned EuroFOX aircraft typically sell for $50,000-100,000. The aircraft has gained a loyal following among backcountry pilots due to its 200-foot takeoff roll, large tundra tire compatibility, and 120-knot cruise speed. Available as a factory-built S-LSA or E-AB kit in the United States. Buyers should inspect fabric condition and verify the steel tube structure is free of corrosion.

Frequently Asked Questions — Aeropro
Is the Aeropro EuroFox a good light sport aircraft?
The EuroFox is a proven Slovak-built LSA with over 700 aircraft flying worldwide. Its STOL performance is exceptional — airborne in 50 meters, landing in 100, with 2,000 fpm climb rate — making it outstanding for short strips and grass fields. Cruise is around 90–95 knots on just 13 liters/hour with a Rotax 912. The welded steel tube and fabric construction is simple to inspect and repair.
What can the EuroFox be used for?
The EuroFox is remarkably versatile for its size: recreational flying, flight training, glider towing, and touring. Folding wings allow storage in a standard garage or trailer transport to different airfields. Both tailwheel and tricycle gear versions are available. In the US it qualifies as an S-LSA; in Europe and Australia it flies as a microlight/ultralight. Flight schools value its durability and low operating costs.
How does the EuroFox compare to a Cessna 150 or Piper Cub?
The EuroFox cruises at similar speed to a Cessna 150 (90 knots) but burns significantly less fuel, has better STOL performance, and costs far less to operate. Compared to a Piper Cub, it offers side-by-side seating, enclosed cabin, and tricycle gear option while matching the Cub's short-field ability. The tradeoff is that it is a light sport aircraft with a 1,320 lb max weight, limiting payload compared to certified aircraft.
