About the Hawker 400

The Beechjet 400 / Hawker 400 series (originally Beechjet 400A in 1986, rebranded Hawker 400XP in 2003) is the light-jet member of the Hawker family — twin Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-5 turbofans, ~462 kt cruise (one of the fastest light jets ever produced), ~1,700 nm range, eight-passenger stand-up cabin. The Beechjet 400 was originally the Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond, which Beechcraft acquired and refined into the 400A. Hawker Beechcraft's 2003 rebranding to Hawker 400XP added refined systems and the Hawker badge. Production ended in 2010. The 400 series offers light-jet operating economics with mid-size cabin space at the value-entry end of the light-jet market.
