About the Cirrus CIRRUS SR20 G1
The Cirrus SR20 is the entry point to the Cirrus line — a five-seat, all-composite single with the same glass cockpit and CAPS whole-airframe parachute as the SR22, but a lower-powered engine (later generations use a 215 hp Lycoming IO-390) and a cruise of around 155 knots. Affordable and docile, it is widely used by flight schools and academies (including the US Air Force) and makes an economical personal aircraft.
Produced 1999. Total produced: 2,500.
