About the Cirrus SR22-G6 TURBO
The Cirrus SR22 has been the best-selling piston aircraft in the world for nearly two decades. A five-seat, all-composite single powered by a 310 hp Continental IO-550, it cruises around 183 knots and carries the CAPS whole-airframe parachute as standard. Since its 2001 launch the SR22 has evolved through seven generations (G1 to the current G7), each adding capability — more fuel, higher gross weight, and successive Cirrus Perspective glass-cockpit upgrades. It remains the default choice for owner-flown personal travel.
Produced 2001. Total produced: 7,000.
