With the additional power from the PT6A-35 turboprop engine, the JetProp can take-off & clear a 50ft obstacle in about 400 meters at Sea Level! Landing distances are even shorter with the aid of reverse thrust. At altitude the DLX can cruise at 260 KTAS at FL270 on about 31 gph or just more than 200 pounds per hour. RVSM limits the aircraft to altitudes of FL280 & below.
The JetProp DLX is perfect for a small business or family that doesn’t need to fly with large loads but wants speed & pressurisation. It is also ideal for areas in which AVGAS is very expensive or unavailable.
Maintenance is up-to-date & the aircraft is fully serviceable!

About the Piper Malibu JetProp
The Malibu JetProp DLX is a piston PA-46 Malibu or Mirage converted to turboprop power under a supplemental type certificate — a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turbine (PT6A-34/-35) replacing the original reciprocating engine. The conversion transforms takeoff, climb and high-altitude performance, lifting cruise to roughly 260-270 knots while keeping the familiar pressurised PA-46 cabin, and it remains a popular, lower-cost route into single-engine turbine ownership versus a factory Meridian.
