Description
HIGHLIGHTS The pressurized 414 was developed to appeal to owners of un pressurized twin engined aircraft and was based on the fuselage of the Cessna 421 and used the wing design of the Cessna 401. The Cessna 414 is truly one of the best values in the pressurized piston twin market today. Anyone looking to step up from an unpressurized twin or even a high performance single, should give the 414 a serious look. About the Cessna Cessna 414
The Cessna 414 Chancellor is a pressurised cabin-class twin that sits between the smaller 340 and the top-of-line 421 Golden Eagle — a six-to-eight seater with airstair entry, club seating and two turbocharged Continental TSIO-520 engines. It pairs cabin-class comfort with engines that are less maintenance-intensive than the 421's geared powerplants, making it a popular owner-flown pressurised twin. It comes in two sub-families: the original 414 and the improved 414A Chancellor, which added a wet (bladderless) wing and a longer nose. See the live price range and median above for the Cessna 414 and Chancellor listings currently on the market.
