About the Hawker Premier 1A
The Hawker Premier IA (2005-2013) is the composite-airframe light jet from the Hawker Beechcraft era — Williams International FJ44-2A turbofans, ~451 kt cruise, ~1,500 nm range, eight- passenger stand-up cabin in a composite fuselage. The Premier represented Hawker Beechcraft's attempt to bring composite-airframe technology into the light-jet segment, with potential weight and aerodynamic benefits. Production was limited (~290 units of original Premier I and Premier IA combined) before Hawker Beechcraft's 2012 bankruptcy ended further development.
