The CAP 230 series of aircraft was designed from the outset to power the French National aerobatic team to gold at the World Aerobatic Championships which it did with great success in the hands of Eric Vazeille in 2000. The CAP 232 is last of the lineage with an upgraded carbon fibre wing, it is considered to be one of the most high performance & enjoyable aerobatic aircraft to fly. The pilot sits over the C of G in a semi reclined position, the controls are light & responsive & the handling is predictable & vice-less. Powered by a 300hp six cylinder Lycoming the 232 climbs at over 3000 feet per minute & with full span ailerons the roll rate exceeds 400 degrees per second.
