Description
AT Aviation are proudly presenting this beautifully maintained Socata TB20 GT, available directly from our showroom in Lee-on-Solent. The GT variant represents the most refined version of the TB20 line, offering improved cabin comfort, upgraded interior styling, and enhanced ergonomics that set it apart from earlier models. Designed with touring in mind, the GT adds a level of polish and practicality that makes long-distance flying more enjoyable for both pilot and passengers.
The TB20 itself has long been admired for its blend of speed, useful load, and outstanding handling characteristics. With its robust airframe, efficient performance, and excellent range, it continues to be a top choice for pilots seeking a capable IFR touring aircraft. This particular example has been privately operated, benefiting from careful ownership and a history of considerate use.
The aircraft features a low houred propeller with the overhaul being completed in 2023 and also carries a standout recent avionics upgrade. The suite includes an Aspen Evolution 2000 PFD/MFD, Avidyne IFD550 and IFD440 GPS, and integration with the latest BendixKing Aerocruze Digital autopilot, creating a modern and capable panel ideal for both leisure and IFR touring/training. This level of avionics modernisation significantly enhances situational awareness, reliability, and the overall cockpit experience.
We are pleased to welcome this aircraft back into our inventory, having sold it previously and knowing it to be a well-cared-for example with lovely paintwork and strong presentation. Offered at a great price of £195,000, this TB20 GT sits under the £200K mark and represents superb value for a GT-spec aircraft with such a comprehensive avionics suite. About the Socata TB-20 Trinidad
The Socata TB-20 Trinidad and turbocharged TB-21 Trinidad TC are the high-performance retractable-gear members of the Socata TB piston line — low-wing four-to-five-seat singles with the distinctive bulged "gull-wing" cabin doors and roomy cabin that set the TB-series apart from American competitors. The TB-20 uses the Lycoming IO-540 (250 hp, ~160 kt); the TB-21 adds a turbocharger for better high-altitude performance. Produced from 1980 through the 2000s, the Trinidad offers a comfortable, well-built European alternative to the Bonanza/Mooney/Cirrus class with a notably wide cabin — though parts support outside Europe requires verification.
Produced 1982.
