About the Eurocopter H145
The Eurocopter H145 (EC145, derived from the BK117) is a light-twin helicopter prized for one of the largest, most versatile cabins in its class — a flat floor with rear clamshell doors that make it a favourite for EMS/HEMS, search-and-rescue, law enforcement and utility. Twin Safran Arriel engines provide redundancy; the modern H145 adds the Fenestron shrouded tail rotor and a five-bladed rotor on the latest variant. It competes with the AW169 and Bell 429 in the upper light-twin segment.
