Seller reportedDescription
I have decided to put My SSDR Merlin G-CJTD up for sale to fund my next aircraft. The aircraft is based in North Northumberland. Previously I flew from a farm strip (now closed) There were two grass runways each about 260 metres in length which clearly demonstrates the short field capabilities of the Merlin. The Merlin is an all metal high wing monocoque and powered by a Rotax 582 Blue top with just over 100 hours on both engine and airframe. It cruses happily at 5000rpm and indicates 85mph. I have owned the Merlin from new and can thoroughly recomend the flying experiance it offers. Fuel burn is between 10 and 13 litres per hour. The flying characteristics of the Merlin are well balanced and responsive. If you are looking for a reliable SSDR microlight the Merlin should be on your bucket list. The American dealer Chip Erwin has produced loads of videos and are well worth watching to get an overall impression of the Merlin. All relevant documents are up-to date. The aircraft will come with the installed Trig radio and transponder if the asking price is achieved. Contact me if interested: John Murphy email johndotmurphy8102atgmaildotcom just replace the dots
