Well-cared-for Jabiru UL 450 kit built in 2002, offering an excellent opportunity for a new owner. Change of personal circumstances forces the sale. - 457 hours on both engine (Jabiru 2200, solid lifters) and airframe. Hours will increase as still flown regularly. - Overall good condition. Some minor hangar rash/small marks (purely cosmetic). - Could benefit from a new panel for a fresh look. Custom-made full brand new panel agreed in principle at a great price (£1400) with Victor Leggott. Would have done that myself however knowing the aircraft is to be sold, I wouldn't want to "force" my own preferences for instruments layout nor additional equipment integration to the panel. This little flaw has been reflected in the asking price. - Reliable, light, fast and economical – ideal for leisure flying, hours building or XC flights. Cruises comfortably at 85kts at 2600rpm (12 l/h) or 95kts at 2800 rpm (14 l/h). - The aircraft has: all standard analogue instruments, vortex generators to both wings and tail, cabin heat, both mechanical and 2-stage electric carb heat, electric fuel pump, passenger-side air vent and everything else standard for the model. - Comes with partial all weather body cover (only wings not covered) as well as prop cover. ICOM A6E 8.33khz radio and intercom included in the sale. - Aircraft has been run on avgas all its life. - Full lifelong paperwork and log books available. A great entry-level aircraft with the possibility of someone personalizing their cockpit panel layout.
