2023 Magni Gyro M16 Tandem

The wide front instrument panel allows the installation of a range of customised avionics.

The rear padded seat & the windscreen equipped with a small instrument panel integrated with the fuselage design assure additional comfort to the passenger. A 20lt rear luggage compartment & two front luggage compartments are available for storing personal belongings, tools needed for flight, or luggage. The interior of the passenger compartment is equipped with a bottle holder & a pen holder finished with a special liner to prevent items from falling out. With a fuel capacity of 72lt, the Magni M16 has three & a half hours of endurance at a cruise speed between 120 & 150 Km/h. The M16 Tandem Trainer is robust, reliable & has considerable range. It is easy to control & to handle. It is fun to fly & is a superb platform for both training & leisure flights.

Airframe:

Chrome-alloy aeronautical 4130 steel, TIG welded.

Fuselage & Inside:

Carbon fuselage – undercarriage, wheel pants and rudder in resin – Padded seats. Integral 72lt fuel tank manufactured in epoxy resin reinforced with fiberglass.

Instruments:

Rotor rev counter, altimeter, air-speed indicator, vertical compass, EMS & fuel level gauge.

Engine:

Rotax 912 – 100Hp or Rotax 914 Turbo – 115Hp 4 cylinders, 4-stroke, water-cooled, with electric starter and mechanical pre-rotator.

Propeller:

Three-bladed propeller in carbon fibre with ground adjustable pitch.

Rotor:

28ft diameter two-bladed rotor in composite materials manufactured by Magni Gyro.

Control:

Single control. Electric Trim & PTT.
