The Magni M24 is the first enclosed side-by-side two-seat factory built gyroplane fully approved under BCAR Section T, the UK CAA’s approval standard for gyroplanes. Further certifications & homologations have been obtained in other countries. The external lines of the fuselage perfectly embody the grace & flair of the Magni Gyro style. The design, its internal layout & the high quality materials used for the windscreen & the door transparencies offer a tremendous panoramic view. The cabin layout reflects the company’s values & attention to detail. The use of high-quality materials & elegant colour combinations reflect the meticulous care taken over developing each of the aircraft’s features. The black carbon-fibre instrument panel gives a dynamic colour-contrast, which enhances the perception of interior space & provides a perfect background to ensure that he instruments & avionics are easily readable. The M24 Orion is equipped with three easily accessible baggage compartments. The 82lt capacity of the fuel tank allows flights of up to four hours at a cruise speed of 120-150km/h (75 to 95mph). With its cabin heating system the M24 is perfect on cold winter days! The Orion can even operate off snow-covered surfaces using the optional easy-to-install skis. Airframe: Chrome-alloy aeronautical 4130 steel, TIG welded. Fuselage & Inside: Carbon fuselage, undercarriage, wheel pants & rudder in resin. Padded seats. Integral 82lt fuel tank manufactured in epoxy resin reinforced with fiberglass. Instruments: Rotor rev counter, altimeter, air-speed indicator, vertical compass, EMS & fuel level gauge. Engine: Turbo Rotax 914, 115Hp 4 cylinders, 4-stroke, water-cooled, with electric starter & mechanical pre-rotator. Propeller: Three-bladed propeller in carbon fibre with ground adjustable pitch. Rotor: 28ft diameter two-bladed rotor in composite materials manufactured by Magni Gyro. Control: Dual control. Electric Trim & PTT.
