Located at the Serpentine Airfield near Perth, this Spitfire Mk26 Serial #47 has custom made engine cowls that give it that unique appearance. The plane is painted an eye catching vibrant red with white trim and underside.
Fitted with Jabiru 5100 5 litre 180 hp 8 cylinder engine, TTIS 40 hrs, TBO 2000 hrs, SDS electronic fuel injection, and Dynon Skyview Avionics. The engine has been reworked and is CASA compliant. It has 8 new pistons and the cylinders honed.
The engine is running beautifully and sounds fantastic.
