Seller reportedDescription
G-CFXK Flylight Dragonfly s/n 021, by Flylight Airsports April 2009. The wing is an Aeros Discus T (Kiev Ukraine 2008.). Engine Polini 190. Engine hours (roughly) - 19:30 (original engine was replaced with Polini 190), airframe hours (roughly) - 60:40. Electric & hand start, electric retractable undercarriage. With - Yaesu Pro FTA 550 Radio, wing fold kit, trike cover, enclosed wooden box trailer. Reduced due to ill health. Last flown March 2018 due to medical conditions, then the pandemic hit, was still hopeful of getting back to flying but alas it's not to be so we're selling. It's had a couple of scrapes, port u/c went into a rabbit hole and was bent – the new type of u/c from Flylight was a different shape and wouldn't allow for retraction, so it was repaired by an aviation qualified welder. A learner taxied into a telegraph pole and bent the port wing outer leading edge - this was repaired with a replacement from Flylight. As the aircraft has not been flown for 7 years, we would recommend an inspection by a qualified person/instructor. The aircraft is located near Munlochy on the Black Isle in Scotland. There is a grass strip close by (Culbokie Airstrip) if any prospective buyer would like to fly in (PPR only, info can be supplied) - transport to the a/c will be arranged.
