For sale is a 2013 Robinson R44 Raven 2. This helicopter has no engine in it and it has aluminum tanks currently installed. We are selling this helicopter as a display helicopter and not as a runnable helicopter. We do have data tag and airframe logbooks that could be sold with it if the new owner wants them. Please note that this helicopter has no motor installed, no hydraulics installed, no radio installed, no gauges installed, no air conditioning installed, no clutch installed, no exhaust installed, no push tubes installed. It is missing the majority of its components. This is for a display piece only it will not be suitable to be rebuilt. 1295 hours total time since new FAA report: According to the pilot, he repositioned the helicopter within the landing zone after landing to use its full length for the planned departure. As he applied takeoff power, the pilot inadvertently climbed the helicopter into wires above the main rotor blades. The pilot subsequently reduced power and attempted a run-on landing to an adjacent road, but the main rotor struck a building. The helicopter rolled on its side and was substantially damaged. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical malfunctions or failures with the helicopter that would have precluded normal operation. Helicopter is located in Tennessee.
