2009 Dova Aircraft DV-1 Skylark

Das Flugzeug basiert auf der bewährten Zelle der Dova Skylark DV-1 und wurde individuell aufgebaut. Aufbau, Wartung und Betreuung erfolgten durch den zertifizierten Wartungs- und Supportbetrieb für diesen Flugzeugtyp in Deutschland.

Ausgestattet mit einem Rotax 912 ULS, einem modernen und bewährten Triebwerk für den Betrieb mit Autobenzin, überzeugt das Flugzeug durch hohe Zuverlässigkeit, sehr gute Effizienz und niedrige Betriebskosten.

In Verbindung mit einem Neuform-Verstellpropeller und einem Constant-Speed-Controller steht über alle Flugphasen hinweg eine optimale Leistungssteuerung zur Verfügung, die sowohl einen kraftvollen Steigflug als auch einen sparsamen Reiseflug ermöglicht.

Das Cockpit verfügt über ein modernes elektronisches PFD mit künstlichem Horizont im Rundinstrument-Design, ergänzt durch analoge Backup-Instrumente für maximale Übersicht und Redundanz.

In der Mittelkonsole ist eine magnetische iPad-Halterung integriert. Das im Angebot enthaltene iPad, beispielsweise mit SkyDemon, bietet eine hervorragend integrierte Moving-Map-Lösung für Navigation und Flugplanung.

Zusätzlich ist ein SkyEcho-Kollisionswarnsystem installiert. Die Verkehrsinformationen werden direkt in der Moving-Map-Anwendung auf dem iPad dargestellt und erhöhen die Situations- und Luftraumwahrnehmung deutlich.

Im ECO-Reiseflug mit negativer Klappenstellung erreicht das Flugzeug eine True Airspeed von etwa 220–230 km/h und verbindet damit hohe Reisegeschwindigkeit mit ausgezeichneter Wirtschaftlichkeit.

Eine Besonderheit ist, dass das Flugzeug für sehr große Personen geeignet ist. Ich bin 196cm groß und passe sehr bequem rein und kann sogar meine Beine vollständig ausstrecken. Das klappt bei keinem anderen UL.

The aircraft is based on the proven Dova Skylark DV-1 airframe and was individually built. Assembly, maintenance, and ongoing support have been carried out by the certified maintenance and support provider for this aircraft type in Germany.

Powered by the Rotax 912 ULS, a modern and well-proven engine approved for automotive gasoline, the aircraft offers excellent reliability, high efficiency, and low operating costs.

Combined with a Neuform variable-pitch propeller and a constant-speed controller, the powerplant provides optimal power management throughout all phases of flight, delivering strong climb performance as well as economical cruise operation.

The cockpit features a modern electronic PFD with an attitude horizon in classic round-instrument design, complemented by analog backup instruments to ensure maximum situational awareness and redundancy.

A magnetic iPad mount is integrated into the center console. The iPad included in the offer, for example running SkyDemon, provides a highly integrated moving-map solution for navigation and flight planning.

In addition, the aircraft is equipped with a SkyEcho collision-warning system. Traffic information is displayed directly on the moving-map application on the iPad, significantly enhancing airspace awareness and overall flight safety.

In ECO cruise configuration with negative flap setting, the aircraft achieves a true airspeed of approximately 220–230 km/h, combining impressive cruise speed with excellent fuel efficiency.

One special feature is that the aircraft is suitable for very tall people. I am 196 cm tall and fit in very comfortably; I can even fully stretch out my legs. That’s not possible in any other ultralight.
