IFRDescription
For sale by owner is this always hangared, 2 owner, SR-20 with upgraded avionics. Flight time 1640; Hobbs time 1957. This aircraft had a cylinder overhaul at 1118 Hobbs, 958 Flight in 2016. Currently, borescope inspections, compressions, and oil analysis are favorable. The aircraft is well-maintained, and the installed Tannis engine heater was used consistently in winter. All door hardware was replaced in 2025 to improve the door closing feel. The original S-Tec autopilot was replaced with Avidyne DFC90 in 2010. In 2019, Garmin GNS 430s center stack was replaced with Avidyne IFD540, IFD440 navcoms, Avidyne AMX240 audio panel with Bluetooth, Avidyne AXP322 remotely mounted transponder with ADS-B out, and a Free Flight FDL-978Rx ADS-B in receiver. The AMX240 audio panel is wired for the "monitor standby" feature that allows for listening to standby frequencies on both radios. (It is like having 4 radios.) This aircraft is equipped with a Stratus Power double USB jack in place of the old "cigarette lighter" in the center console. In addition, a Com 2 antenna switch box is installed in the center console; this switch can connect a portable battery-powered radio to the Com 2 antenna for better range in a lost comms emergency. An ACK 406 Mhz ELT was installed in 2025. Avidyne Entegra software has been upgraded to display free ADS-B weather and traffic on the Entegra MFD, along with IFD540. DFC90 AP is wired for flap position, and the envelope protection feature is active. (A polite voice gives overspeed, underspeed, flap overspeed, autopilot servo limit, and excessive bank angle warnings over the intercom.) This lighter weight serial number of the SR-20 was sold with a 2 bladed propeller and without the autopilot pitch servo. The AP controls pitch using the the elevator trim servo. Use of AP with full flaps is not authorized in this SR-20 because it does not have an AP pitch servo. This 18 year old aircraft has good cosmetics overall for its age. It does have an area above the aluminum stall strip on each wing that always tries to peel and has been touched up (see last several pictures).
