Seller reportedDescription
POBER PIXIE (similar to Corbin Baby Ace) 55 hr tt, Great plains VW conversion. No Damage, No Rash, No Problems. Electric start, good hydraulic toe-brakes, Probably not for Tall pilots. Eastern Oklahoma, Near FT Smith, AR. Pictures contain lots of info. Built by an old guy in Wisconsin, his widow sold to another old guy, then sold to Former crop-duster (a/p mechanic) in Lawton, OK. Lawton guy flew it 40 hours, removed VW motor, and installed a 123 hour Great Planes VW conversion with more power. Also changed/streamlined Cowling shape and updated panel. Flew it about 10 more hours and sold to me. Very nice airplane. I'm the second person who ever flew it. I made an ugly, comfortable-for-me seat for it. My 2,000 ft (east/west) strip is 3 miles west of Panama, OK. Cell is 8sixty, 9seventyeight, thirtyfive86 here on Oklahoma. Only possible trades would be an ultralight.... or maybe an old Case dozer. There is a Challenger I in hangar #4 that flies great, but isn't mine. My Aerolite 103 and an Improved re-do of my old ladder-spar airplane are in there too. Another (similar) ultralight would fit in.. Tractors in #1, Ducks in #2, Pixie in #3. My piloting skills are rusty for sure. Don't fly enough to be good, and not good enough to fly unless the conditions are Perfect. Pixie is just too nice an airplane for me to risk damaging it. Electric start, good hydraulic toe-brakes, Probably not for Tall pilots. You can fly in and test-fly it. I'll hand you back your cash if you don't damage it. Poteau, OK has closest paved runway. Not close enough, so I made my own.
