Description

488AT had been stored in a hangar for over six years and was missing its logbooks when I first found it. After locating the owner, I purchased the aircraft and had new logbooks created, with all ADs brought fully up to date. After a few initial flights, the engine began running rough intermittently, so I took it to a highly regarded mechanic for a detailed inspection. Upon removing the #5 valve cover, he discovered corrosion on both the intake and exhaust springs and pushrods. Since addressing the issue, I've flown 488AT three times with no further engine problems. I've also upgraded the oxygen system, break lines, fuel lines, and taxi lighting. The interior is in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for. Would you like to own this?
