Description
We sold it last year to the current owner who flew it about 20 hours per month. He loves the plane but is ready to move into a twin (if you want to move down from a twin, let me know what you have). Incredibly Well Equipped and Very Attractive. A rare turbo equipped Lycoming M20J. The speed of a turbo at altitude attached to the venerable IO-360. Fly it like a 201 or turn up the power and climb to altitude to get 231 speeds.
Engine
1050 Total Time Since Major Overhaul. 150 Since R&R of all cylinders for replacement of pistons. All internal parts inspected during the work including camshaft, tappets and bearings.
Propeller
750 Hours Total Prop Time Since New. Upgraded to the Hartzell 2-Blade 'Top Prop'.
Interior
Retrofitted with a Mooney Allegro/Encore Interior by the Mooney Factory in 2007. All new composite side panels and modern seats, including the split and removable back seats. This retrofit cost the owner at that time in the neighborhood of $35,000.
Exterior
Painted in 2018 in an Acclaim Ultra Scheme.
Inspection
Annual Due April 2027. 2025 Maintenance included: new windscreen, new main shock discs, overhauled fuel injection system and overhauled prop governor.
