Aircraft Details
Seller reportedDescription
This impressive aircraft was formerly registered as VH-HVA and has been in Australia for approximately the last 40 years. She was exported to NZ around 2021 (ZK-DSY) and went through a thorough refit and maintenance period before crossing back into Australia in September 2024. She was registered in charter category and has been maintained to Part 135 standard throughout. She has had a CASA CofA process that equates her to PA-31 Chieftain status and has all ADs applied and up to date. Spar mod complete.
She was flying regularly in Bankstown and more recently over the Bass Strait and has been a lifeline to Tasmanian and island communities. See Flight Radar for how busy and reliable she has been.
The last 100 hourly saw her fitted with a new turbo and the engines all running well with good pressures.
YSL would suit someone looking to:
build twin hours
carry out airwork (survey, parachute jumping etc.) NB No survey window
private operations needing to move a large family or other private payload.
Currently located in Brisbane, she will be there for the foreseeable future.
She's an excellent candidate for return to charter ops for someone with the experience, the business and the knowledge to operate an aircraft of this calibre. With new engines, she would be a reliable charter workhorse. As she is, she is a reliable and appealing twin.
She is also available for rental subject to experience: $
700+GST dry hourly rate paid in advance plus AirServices fees deposit.
