A rare chance to own a coveted later model Mooney M20E. This Super 21 Chaparral is made an even rarer find as it has never had a gear-up landing or any other major damage history for that matter! This well-loved plane would not be coming to market were it not for the current owner having been unable to overcome a multi-year struggle to regain their medical certificate. Having cherished the plane for the 22 years since purchasing in 2003, his wish now is to see it into the hands of a new loving owner. Electric gear and bladder fuel tanks are always high-priority targets for most Mooney shoppers and with both of those boxes checked, this one has you covered... no wrestling with a Johnson bar and no problems with the sealed tanks! Highlights include a 3-Blade McCauley propeller, uAvionics Tail Beacon (ADS-B out), JPI EDM Engine Monitor, new tires/tubes, SkyTec starter, and Whelen Strobes. Note that the Mooney Position Control (Wing Leveler) has been disabled and placarded INOP as have the 2 NAV receivers. Owner is a VFR only pilot and used iPad for navigation. It is perfect for VFR ops as it is, but would need some investment to be made truly IFR ready in the modern ATC system. That being said, 91.411 (pitot-static system) and 91.413 (transponder) certifications are up to date and valid through 7/26 and 11/27, respectively. All over white paint scheme with blue and red trim. It has been hangar stored and is in good shape for the vintage with only some minor nicks / chips and fading of paint in some areas, particularly the red stripes on the wingtips.
