Description

Britten-Norman is pleased to offer this extremely low-hours OEM factory refurbished BN2T-4S turboprop Islander in commuter configuration! With 1,300+ aircraft built; the Islander is the market leading STOL performance twin-engine aircraft. Serving customers in more than 100 countries over 6 continents, the Islander has accumulated around 20 million flight hours providing vital lifelines to small and remote communities. Powered by 2 Rolls Royce M250 B17F Engines, the BN2T-4S has an enhanced performance of 400hp whilst maintaining incomparable STOL capability and reliability. With a take-off distance of just 365m and an MTOW of 3855kg, the BN2T-4S variant remains ideal for short-field commercial operations in challenging conditions outperforming similar STOL aircraft. This aircraft will be delivered fully factory refurbished with new latest technology Garmin IFR glass cockpit, new interior trim, carpets, up-to-date maintenance, and a bespoke customer livery. The technical records are showcased at Customer Acceptance and the aircraft is released with a 6-month warranty and guarantee. In the commuter configuration, the BN2T-4S can seat up to 9 passengers for single pilot operations across 5 rows of all-window seating; the BN2T-4S is currently undergoing regulatory approval to utilise the extra cabin space to seat up to 11 passengers. All Islander aircraft are versatile and easily re-configurable with a range of customer-specific modifications and refine any role equipment fit to suit requirements. Both pilot training and maintenance training courses, alongside technical support service packages, are also available to help support your operation.
