Whether you require walnut panelling or cargo handling, Britten-Norman aircraft are custom designed & handcrafted to each customer’s exacting specifications. Powered by 2 Lycoming IO-540-K1B5 fuel injected piston engines, the BN2B-20 has an enhanced performance of 300hp whilst maintaining incomparable STOL capability & reliability. With a take-off distance of just 215m and MTOW of 2994kg, the BN2B-20 variant is ideal for short-field commercial operations in hot & high conditions, outperforming similar STOL aircraft. All new Britten-Norman aircraft include state of the art avionics from the Garmin G600 series & GTN Glass Cockpit with a range of additional optional equipment. Alongside full IFR glass cockpit, every new Islander comes equipped as standard with all window seating, enlarged baggage access & higher All Up Mass in comparison with previous variants. Our in-house design team utilises decades of experience gained from designing over 1300 Islanders, modifying the highly versatile platform to create an aircraft for your specific needs & preferences. Each customer will have their choice from range of leather seat colours & selection of flooring from durable rubber matting to 40 different colours of carpet. Bespoke options are available. Both pilot training & maintenance training courses, alongside technical support service packages, are also available to help support your operation.
