About the Learjet 45
The Learjet 45 is the most popular modern Learjet — a clean-sheet light jet introduced in 1998, with a stand-up cabin seating up to 9, twin Honeywell TFE731-20 engines and ~460 kt cruise. The shorter Learjet 40 (2003-2012) is the four/six-seat version of the same airframe. The 45XR (2003+) and 40XR added more thrust and range. With over 400 produced, the 40/45 is the volume modern Learjet on the used market and the practical entry into modern Learjet ownership.
Produced 1997–2012. Total produced: 570.
