AIRPLANE RAFFLE RULES 2025/2026
1. This is a Raffle – not a contest. 100% of the money raised goes to our Mission of flying cancer patients to treatment at no charge to the families and all costs associated keeping this organization going.
2. It is not valid in any capacity if it is illegal where you live. It is your responsibility to verify that it is legal before you buy a Raffle Ticket. The Raffle is also not valid outside of the USA. Void where prohibited by law.
3. You can buy as many raffle tickets as you wish. Tickets are $100.00 each. Each ticket has a chance of winning one of 2 prizes. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this raffle and live in the USA.
4. Every ticket will be issued with a discrete number assigned by the raffle creator program and that number is not repeated. So if you buy more than one ticket, each will have a different number on it. Please put your first and last name.
5. The actual ticket number will be emailed to the email address you provide. We are not responsible for any lost or misdirected emails.
6. After all 6,000 tickets are sold, no more tickets will be sold. Anyone that buys a ticket after the 6,000 tickets have been sold, will have their purchase fully refunded. We aren’t responsible if your purchase cannot be processed because we’ve already sold the last ticket. The winner will be drawn after 6,000 tickets have been sold.
The tentative drawing date is May 16, 2026 with an end date of tickets sales May 15, 2026, however Flying Wings of Louisiana has the option to draw earlier if all tickets are sold, as well as at a later date. Grand Prize is a 1969 Piper Arrow N7692J.
7. Winners will be contacted by phone and everyone will be notified via the website and Facebook. All ticket sales cease when 6,000 tickets have been sold. You do not need to be present to win.
8. The prize can be transferred to anyone you wish, as long as they live in the USA and are 18 years or older.
9. Any taxes, licenses, registration fees and other fees or expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. Entry constitutes permission to use the winners names for future promotions and publicity purposes without compensation except where prohibited by law.
10. The first and second prizes will be awarded within 30 days of the Raffle ending and Flying Wings will keep the planes at its hangar for up to 30 days, beyond that the winner will be responsible for any and all charges past the 30 days. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email and the winners must sign a hold harmless contract, publicity, media and photo releases, etc. The winner of the second prize will have the items mailed directly to their address.
11. If the winner declines acceptance of the prizes, Flying Wings will draw another winner.
About the Piper Arrow
The Piper Arrow (PA-28R, also called the Cherokee Arrow) is the retractable-gear, 200-hp member of the PA-28 family. It is the classic complex trainer for the commercial certificate, adding constant-speed prop and retractable gear to the familiar Cherokee handling. Variants include the Arrow II, the longer-body Arrow III, the T-tail Arrow IV, and the Turbo Arrow III/IV with a turbocharged 200-hp engine for better high-altitude cruise. Typical cruise is around 137 knots, faster than any fixed-gear Cherokee.
Produced 1967–2009. Total produced: 8,000.
